In his statement on the 15/6/2015, the GS of the CC of the KKE, Dimitris Koutsoumpas, on the negotiations of the SYRIZA-ANEL government with the Troika he made the following reference:

“Today the illusions that there can be a pro-people negotiation inside the framework of the EU and capital are dissolving.

Today the deceptions that SYRIZA addressed to the Greek people before the elections, when it promised that it could effectively negotiate for the interests of the people inside the predatory alliance, are becoming more obvious.

The people now need to enter centre stage, to overcome the blackmail and climate of intimidation, which are being utilized by the lenders, the government and the other bourgeois opposition parties with the aim of getting the people to accept the new anti-people commitments.

The fact that new anti-people measures are on the table in the discussions between the government and the lenders, beyond those already included in the government’s proposal of 47 pages, demonstrates that the real way out for the people is not to be found in the negotiations regarding the terms of their slaughter but in the rupture that can only have one content: disengagement from the EU, unilateral cancellation of the debt,  socialization of the monopolies, with the people truly holding the reins of power.”
