Letter to KKE
In Prague, January 16, 2015
Dear comrades,
Communist Party of Greece (KKE) has ever defended people's interests, bringing many victims and never betraying ideas of socially fair society. KKE's tight unity with workers, peasants, young people, women, it has ever been a bright example for us - communist parties- to follow.
Last time, Greece and Greek people have experienced one of the hardest periods of their history. The country finds itself in the screws of the anti-people financial and social policies of the EU and of EU institutions. The KKE representatives have never feared to name real issues of Greek society, the issues of European or wider international nature included. The KKE have been able to foresee the impact of the crisis on the workers, the retired, the young generation the across Europe as ell as the crisis' impact on possible further development of the Communist and Left-wing movement.
Nowadays, Greece occurs up to early Parliamentary election. In its election programme, the KKE reveals the danger to come in the case the citizens to succumb to short-term solutions, being blind to the fact that the Western capital promises impossible things to Greece, making a ground already now for another anti-people measures.
The Greece is staggering on the abyss' edge. The current Soc-Dem has failed; it has, however, a tendency not to surrender and to adapt itself to any new situation.
The KKE's agenda needs, for sake of a dignified position of the Greece in the Europe to be restored, a support of all Left-wing progressive people and movements of the country. Also we as the communists of both Bohemia and Moravia, keeping in long-time relations with the KKE, support KKE's striving for changes in favour of ordinary citizens, calling on every KKE's possible ally to support Greek comrades in their struggle for better future of your beautiful proud country. Vote for the KKE - the warranty of both freedom and democracy in Greece. Only Greek people have the right to choose their own fate and future. We believe that the KKE wouldn't be scared of its responsibility, and it would fulfil its commitments.
Comrades, Communists, as well as the supporters, we express to all of you our solidarity, wishing you to be successful in forthcoming election to the Greek Parliament on January 25.
Warmest comradely greetings,
Vojtech Filip
