Dear comrades,

The Central Committee of the Party of Labour of Austria sends its best wishes and solidary greetings to the Communist Party of Greece.

Among the Greek political parties the KKE is the only force against the anti-people offensive of the ND/PASOK-government, the EU and the monopoly capital. It is the only party that consistently supports the people and always stands in the frontline of the struggle for souvereignty and social security. Last not least the KKE is the only party with an anti-imperialist stance and a revolutionary strategy which will be able to lead the working class and the oppressed people's strata to socialism.

We strongly support the KKE's political line and call on those Greek citizens living in Austria, who have the possibility to travel, to vote for the KKE in the upcoming parliamentary elections. The suppressed and exploited people of Greece need a powerful KKE inside and outside the parliament. After the elections the KKE will be still and further on the only serious opposition to the anti-people, pro-capitalist and pro-EU government, regardlessly whether this new government will be led by the ND or by the socialdemocratic SYRIZA, because both are deceiving the Greek people and serve the interests of the monopolies.

We hope for a strengthening result for the KKE in the elections and for a reinforcement of the communist movement, the workers' and the people's resistance.
