The Communist Party of Malta Sends a message of greetings and solidarity to the Communist Party of Greece, its’ leadership, cadres and all its supporters in this moment, when the party will be contesting in a parliamentary elections, against great odds as the future of the working people in Greece depends on the out coming electoral results, where it will be decided whether the working class in Greece will continue to carry the burden, of the economic crises which was not of their doing, or to continue  to suffer under the austerity measures imposed by the troika.

The road ahead is not clear as there are elements that will confuse workers by promising that they will soften the blows that the European Union has been lashing out. The Workers in Greece should ignore these pseudo leftists who falsely promise to reform the capitalist system and give their support to the KKE, the party that has struggled inexhaustible alongside with workers against the harsh measures that the EU diktat had imposed.

The Communist Party of Malta fully supports the KKE policy, expressed here; that it is up to the Greek people who must create the pre-conditions that will lead to the cancellation of the debt, to exit Greece from EU and NATO, to build a new economic structure based on people’s need and not for the benefit of the capitalist system.

The CPM fully agrees that this will require the workers’-people power. As KKE has very well stated “The regroupment of the labour-people’s movement is a precondition for this, as well as the formation of the people’s alliance of the working class with the other popular strata, something that can happen through the decisive strengthening of the KKE” in the tradition of Marxism Leninism.

The Communist Party of Malta augers that the Communist Party of Greece success in the forthcoming Parliamentary elections.
