The KKE Delegation in the European Parliament dennounces the state of Israel for the unacceptable provocations and threats that it has unleashed against the 340 residents of the Palestinian village Susiya. Israel is seeking with longstanding threats, court judgments and blatant provocations to uproot the Palestinian residents of the village and demolish their houses.  

While the Israeli government is continuing its policy of murders, imprisonments and displacing people, the EU and the SYRIZA-ANEL government are at the same time rewarding it with enhanced economic, political and military cooperation.

HANDS OFF THE VILLAGE OF SUSIΥA. WE DEMAND THE COMPLETE PROTECTION OF THE RESIDENTS, THEIR HOMES AND OTHER PROPERTY.

The KKE expresses its stable solidarity with the Palestinian people and continues its struggle to end the Israeli occupation, to end the settlements, for the release of all the political prisoners and the existence of a viable, independent Palestinian state next to Israel, on the 1967 borders with East Jerusalem as its capital and as a recognized member of the UN.
