On 6 November, strike rallies of construction workers, i.e. builders, engineers and electricians, took place in many cities of Greece, as part of their nationwide strike for collective agreements with wage increases, established rights and protection measures at the workplace.
In the Attica region in particular, there was universal participation of workers from major construction projects in the capital region, who militantly marched to the Ministry of Labour.
At the same time, the strike in the construction sector marked an escalation of the struggle in the run-up to the national general strike on 20 November.
