Party organisations of the KKE across the country are calling on workers and young people to demonstrate against the visit of the US Secretary of State, M. Rubio. They are noting that he is unwelcome, along with the dangerous plans and bloodstained agreements between Greece and the US, and between Greece and Israel.
In Attica alone, 37 meetings, rallies and protests in neighbourhoods and workplaces are planned from Saturday 3 October to Monday 5 October.
The Communist Party of Greece (KKE) and trade unions, the Greek Committee for International Detente and Peace (EEDYE) and other mass organisations across the country have held or are planning dozens of protests. On Tuesday 6 October, the All-Workers’ Militant Front (PAME) will hold a large rally outside the Greek Parliament with the following demands:
- An immediate end to Greece’s involvement in imperialist wars waged by the US, NATO and the EU;
- The closure of US and NATO bases;
- The return of all Greek military forces from missions abroad;
- An end to all cooperation with the murderous state of Israel;
- Neither land nor water to the murderers of the peoples!
- Money for wages, healthcare and education, not for their wars and profits!
