The communists of Greece reacted immediately to the US strike in Iran, which could lead to a generalization of the imperialist war.
On Sunday, 22 June 2025, the KKE and KNE organizations held pickets, motorcade protests and demonstrations in dozens of cities across Greece, with the slogan “They are sowing destruction in the Middle East – No involvement of Greece in the slaughter”. Furthermore, KNE held demonstrations outside the US Embassy in Athens and the US Consulate in Thessaloniki.
The call for a popular uprising against imperialist plans, Greece’s involvement in the imperialist war and NATO, the EU and the US continues to be spread through mobilizations, rallies, campaigns and the distribution of the Party’s statement in workplaces, neighbourhoods and villages.
