A message of solidarity with the Cuban people, together with a condemnation of the escalating US aggression against Cuba, was conveyed at a rally held last Friday in Lefkada, organized by the Lefkada-Vonitsa Labour Centre and the Peace Committee.
The event was opened by K. Stamatelos, a member of the Labour Centre’s executive board, while the keynote address was delivered by M. Bekris, president of the Piraeus Labour Centre and a member of the PAME Secretariat, who recently took part in PAME’s internationalist solidarity mission to Cuba.
