On 14 September, the Attica PartyOrganization of the KKE held an event with the participation of a large number of workers and elected trade unionists from all sectors of the private and public sectors. The topic was: “Their profits or our lives. With a more powerful KKE we are paving the way for overthrowing capitalism. For Socialism!”
The theatre was packed with workers – men and women – who are at the forefornt of struggle in their workplaces alongside the communists, demanding modern rights, fighting to organise the working class everywhere, to establish new trade unions, and to improve the balance of power within the labour and trade union movement.
Nektarios Triantis, a member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the KKE, delivered the keynote speech, followed by contributions from trade unionists.
