With strong participation of students and young people, and a rich programme of events, the KNE Student Festivals organized by the school students’ Base Organizations of KNE continue to take place in many cities across Greece.
The festivals feature concerts by student bands, live hip-hop performances, poetry, and theatrical sketches, as well as talks and exhibitions on timely issues, including as the causes of imperialist wars, the struggle of the Cuban people, the contemporary lessons of the sacrifice of the 200 communists of Kaisariani, the response to the distortion in school textbooks of the USSR’s contribution to the Second World War, the struggle against drugs, and more.
