Nós, Partidos Comunistas e Operários, expressamos a nossa solidariedade ao povo sírio e condenamos o ataque militar contra a Síria que está a ser preparado pelos imperialistas dos EUA, da NATO e da UE, em conjunto com os seus aliados, para promover os seus interesses na região.
Rejeitamos os pretextos dos imperialistas que, como se demonstrou, também foram utilizados na guerra contra o Iraque e nas outras guerras imperialistas contra a Jugoslávia, o Afeganistão e a Líbia.
Apelamos à classe operária e aos povos de todo mundo a que se oponham e condenem a nova guerra imperialista, exigindo que os governos dos seus países não se envolvam nela nem apoiem a criminosa ofensiva militar.
