On the 4-7^th of May 2015 by the invitation of RCWP and the Communist Workers’ Organization of Lugansk People’s Republic there took place a meeting of communist and workers parties. Representatives of the following parties took participated in the meeting: Communist Workers’ Organization of LPR, Communist Party of Donetsk People’s Republic, Russian Communist Workers’ Party (RCWP-CPSU), Communist Party of Working People of Belarus, Communist Party of Greece, Communist Party of Italy, communist parties and organizations that work under special conditions in the Baltic Republics and in the Ukraine, Socialist Movement of Kazakhstan. Certain parties participated in absentia, these are as follows: Party of Communists of Bulgaria, Syrian Communist Party, Workers’ Party of Hungary, Union of Communists-Revolutionaries of France, New Communist Party of Yugoslavia and some other organizations. At the meeting there took place an exchange of views on the situation in the region and the tasks of communists.

The meeting was held a couple of days before the 70^th Anniversary of the Peoples’ Victory over Fascism. Taking this into consideration the participants stressed that USSR, Soviet people, Red Army, Communist Party of Bolsheviks that had led the titanic struggle as well as its youth organization – Komsomol, all of them deserve gratitude and acknowledgment of those people who celebrate the Victory over Fascism. The Victory of the Soviet Union led by I.V. Stalin over Nazi Germany and her allies was attained due to the organizing role of the workers’ Soviet power, the advantages of production means’ socializing, and the centrally planned economies, due to the leading role of masses guided by working class, leading role of the Communist Party – the revolutionary vanguard of working people. The Victory represents a huge historical lesson for both present and future revolutionary movements.

The participants have also stressed a considerable contribution to the Victory of the Fascism made by communist parties who led partisan anti-Fascist movements.

Communist parties who met in Donbass have condemned the efforts to rewrite the history that are made by bourgeois ideologies especially those from EU and USA.

Communist parties have discussed the current situation in the region and mentioned that the bloody events in Ukraine were due to the intervention of USA, EU and NATO in the internal affairs of that country was performed as a part of their competition with capitalist Russia and linked to the struggle between big sections of Capital. These forces started ruthless competition for the control over markets and energy sources.

Communist parties condemned the action of Fascist forces in Ukraine, the advance of ant-communists and the attempts to ban communist symbols and ideology as well as the acts of vandalism aimed against monuments to Lenin and other anti-fascists and Soviet monuments.

Communist parties have expressed their solidarity with the working class and the struggling working people of Ukraine that have been fighting against reactionary government. They stressed that the development of things should be determined by the course of the class struggle and there is no place left for parliamentary illusions and the empty talk of pacifists. The struggle against Fascism is inseparably linked to the struggle against capitalist exploitation and bourgeois regime.

Communist parties have called on working people to organize their own struggle based on their pursuit of Socialism while ignoring the which type of imperialist is chosen by various parts of plutocracy.

Socialism remains topical and necessary as never before. This is the real prospect to oppose any capitalist interstate alliance to pave the way to the economics and the society that would be based not on profits but on satisfaction of working people’s needs.
