On Saturday 5 October,thousands of people and youth took part in the rallies called by the Attica Party Organization of the KKE in eight different districts of Attica. The mass rallies condemned Greece’s involvement in the imperialist massacre that turns Greece into a perpetrator of crimes against other peoples and the Greek people into a possible target of retaliation. They also expressed solidarity with the peoples of Palestine and Lebanon who are shedding their blooddue to the murderous state of Israel, which enjoys the multiform support of the USA-NATO and the EU.

The participation of young conscripts in the rallies, who declared their opposition to the country’s involvement in the deadly imperialist plans that have nothing to do with the defence of the country, left a special and important militant stamp.

Similar rallies and demonstrations took place in many other cities in the country.
